Rich and interesting is the history of Villa Maria which was roman noble Marquis de Cinque family's manor, an history which blends with Ravello's and the Amalfi Coast's. The structure, while preserving the elegant forms of a lordly mansion, in the years has undergone noteworthy redecorations which have fashioned its actual splendour. In all of the premises, halls, staircases and public areas it is still possible to admire the antique marble floors and in the rooms and the bathrooms hand painted Vietrese School majolica tiles.

'' I will find it very difficult to convey just how fantastic Mario is at planning weddings in Ravello. His experience and local knowledge meant that our day couldn't have been more perfect. Every detail had been discussed via email prior allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful village from the moment we arrived. I am a natural control freak and worrier, but Mario commented that we were very laid back and easy to work with. I'm sure that this is because he had put in nearly a year of hard work and knew exactly what we wanted, and executed it with such ease that we were just allowed to enjoy ourselves. He even told us he had stopped the Icelandic volcano just for us (I think I might believe him!) We felt like superstars with all the attention and Mario made sure we got excellent pictures with an old Fiat parked adjacent to the church (by chance?), a trip to the Villa Rufalo, the Villa Eva roof terrace and the beautiful terrace of the Villa Maria. Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and also the best meal they had eaten (thanks to the Villa Maria staff). The florist was marvelous as was Enrico Capuano the photographer (his photos are amazing), not forgetting lovely Anna Maria and Father John the Priest. I feel like I left new friends behind and can't wait to go back. Thanks on behalf of both of us (and our guests) ''Katie and Steve Katie Schofield Huddersfield Yorkshire England
Ravello, is a "terrace" overlooking sea and hills of the Amalfi Coast. A unique town, where art and culture merge with the natural beauty in a inimitable and extraordinary setting. The renowned Festival of Ravello is held annually in Villa Rufolo and is dedicated to Richard Wagner who found inspiration here for his last masterpiece, the Parsifal. Ravello has a permanent seat of the European Center for Cultural Heritage, which each year organizes major conferences. In 1996 UNESCO declared Ravello, and the whole the Amalfi Coast, a World Heritage Site. The climate of Ravello is indeed ideal, the winter is almost unknown here. Our summer lasts from April to October with temperatures around 25° C. The heat of August is tempered by the breeze of the Tyrrhenian Sea (western) and the coolness of the northern Tramontana wind (from Tramonti in fact!). You wedding will be an opportunity to discover, enjoy and learn the secrets of good Italian food in a charming and evocative email@example.com
